This Privacy Policy explains how eGeneration PLC (“eGeneration”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit egeneration.co, request a demo, apply for a role, or otherwise contact us. It covers this website and related public forms. Separate contracts and data-processing terms apply when we deliver products or services to a customer organisation.

1. Who we are
eGeneration PLC is a Bangladesh-listed technology company. We provide software development, system integration, cyber security, cloud, managed services, and data-centre solutions, and we sell AI products including eGFinance, eGHR, eGSales, eGERP, eGStudio, Lyravo, eGHealth, and eGConnect AI.

2. Information we collect
Information you send us
- Demo and enquiry forms: full name, work email, phone number, company, job title, preferred meeting time, and any comments you add.
- Email: messages you send to info@egeneration.co, hr@egeneration.co, aminur@egeneration.co, or other published addresses, including CVs and attachments.
- Career applications: the role you apply for, your CV, and any details you include in the email.
- Investor questions sent to Investor Relations.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data such as browser type, device, referring page, and approximate location derived from IP address, as recorded by our hosting provider in ordinary server logs.
- A session preference for the site accent colour (blue or green), stored in your browser’s session storage so the theme stays consistent while you browse. This is not used to identify you.
We do not run advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts on this website. We do not sell personal information.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and arrange product demonstrations.
- Assess job applications and communicate with candidates.
- Handle shareholder, filing, and AGM questions through Investor Relations.
- Operate, secure, and improve the website.
- Meet legal, regulatory, and audit obligations as a public limited company.
We use EmailJS to deliver demo-request forms to our team. That provider processes the fields you submit so the message can reach us. We do not use those submissions for unrelated marketing lists.
4. When we share information
We share personal information only when needed:
- With service providers that host the site, deliver email, or support our operations, under obligations to keep it confidential.
- Inside eGeneration, with the team that can act on your request (sales, delivery, HR, or Investor Relations).
- When the law, a regulator, or a court requires it, or to protect our rights, people, or customers.
- If we restructure or transfer part of the business, as permitted by applicable law.
5. Customer and product data
When a customer uses eGeneration products or services, that organisation typically controls the business data in those systems. We process that data as agreed in the customer contract, statement of work, and any data-processing terms — not under this website policy alone. Questions about data inside a customer deployment should go to that customer and to the account team named in the contract.
6. Cookies and similar tools
This website uses session storage to remember your accent-colour choice for the browsing session. We do not set advertising cookies. If we add optional analytics or consent tools later, we will update this policy and, where required, ask before using non-essential cookies.
7. How long we keep data
We keep enquiry and demo records for as long as needed to complete the conversation and for a reasonable follow-up period, then delete or archive them according to our internal retention rules. Career records are kept for the recruitment cycle and for a limited period afterwards so we can consider you for a related role or meet employment-law duties. Investor correspondence is retained as required for company-secretarial and regulatory records. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.
8. Security
eGeneration maintains an information-security programme aligned with ISO 27001 and related controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures, and we expect you not to send highly sensitive personal data (such as national ID numbers or health records) through a public website form unless we have asked for it through a secured channel.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we no longer need it and the law does not require us to keep it. You can also object to a use that is not required to complete a request you made. Email info@egeneration.co with enough detail for us to find your record. Career requests should copy hr@egeneration.co.
You may have additional rights under Bangladesh law or, if you are in another country, under that country’s data-protection rules. We will respond in a reasonable time.
10. Children
This website and our products are directed at businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Transfers and third-party sites
Some processors (for example email delivery) may handle data on servers outside Bangladesh. We use them only to operate the site and respond to you. Links to Facebook, LinkedIn, partner sites, or downloadable PDFs take you to services we do not control. Their privacy terms apply once you leave egeneration.co.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices, products, or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy for that use.
